First .... results were posted from Day 1……we were placed 24 out of 38 cars; not ideal to say the least.
Now for Day 2. It rained the entire day we were in the car….sometimes sprinkling; sometimes coming down hard. We had five Speed Tests today on three separate race tracks (including the lovely Pirelli Test Track). Racing (or time trials as we were doing) in the rain is difficult. Even worse news is that forecasts say that it will rain all day on Days 3 and 4. All our equipment gets wet and damp, but we have no complaints compared to the open pre-war cars. The drivers and navigators in those cars look like wet rats…..but the Brits seem love driving in this soup.

Off tomorrow into the downpour……
Way to advance in the rankings!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! [and may the next rally take place in a dry environment]
