Day 7 Verona to Rimini

Eureka!! big news.....it worked. Only took us 7 days and 12-14 Regularities to figure out how to be competitive. We had three Regularities and our times respectively were: 2 seconds slow; 1 second slow; and 1 second slow….very respectable times.
In addition to the Regularities, we had three Speed Tests. Our times on the speed tests were also good, so I’m hoping we’ll move up in the rankings. When they post tomorrow, I’ll send along a report.

Rimini, our overnight stay is on the Adriatic Coast, north of Venice. In ancient times, sailors from Venice explored the world (and conquered some of it). Rimini was more focused on feeding the population with an extensive fishing fleet. Rimini still does a big business in seafood and on route to our hotel we passed the fishing fleet docked in the harbor.

Tonight there was a wedding in the adjacent ballroom at our dinner location. The bride came into our room and invited us in to dance. Yours truly declined the invitation, but a number of the participants danced (and drank) the night away.

  1. That surely was a first for you- declining that invitation. Glad to read that you are still enjoying these rallies. David
